I remember when I first started my new business and put my very first website on the internet, I thought my business would start to blow up within six months since my website was available to the world. I thought wrong. Just because you have a new website up and running on the internet it doesn’t mean that everyone or a lot of people will see it, unless they were told by word of mouth. It’s like a new music artist putting out a new record and the record is not being played by the radio stations or in clubs, but the record is out there in the shops worldwide. The only way people will know about it is by word of mouth, or if they actually bumped into it while looking around for new music at the music store.
So that’s how you have to think about your new website when you put it up onto the web for the first time, it will not be noticed at first. So now, for you to get people to know about it, just like the new record scenario, you need topromote yourself, that’s right baby you got to market your product.
Online marketing is a very good way to promote yourbusiness worldwide, this is a powerful form of marketing and one of the reasons for this is because you are not just promoting your business in your area or country like offsite marketing, when delivering brouchers, or sticking posters on the outside walls, which cost money, why bother with that when online marketing covers all of that and plus includes more because your actually promoting your business to the world.
Now back to my issue when I started to do my research about online marketing on the internet, going to many sites on this subject, I noticed that I can do the work myself but obviously you need to know what you are doing especially if you are new to it and since I assumed I knew what I was doing I tried it out all by myself, creating the time and effort.
So one of the things I did was to use the free advertisingwebsites to promote my business, thinking that since it’s free why not it may help me out. But sorry to say it didn’t really do much because the only way anybody will see my ads will be if they actually visit the free websites, and considering that, there would be many more ads like my one, I would be lucky if anyone spotted my ads.
Don’t get me wrong the free advertising websites do help because putting a free ad out there is better than putting noads out there, but they don’t help a lot and won’t really give you the exposure you need, plus you got to keep on putting out your ad every week or so just to keep it on top of the list, and that was a pain.
I even tried the free link exchange websites but that did little too. I then started to think to myself and decided that if I want my marketing done properly to get big exposure then I will need to pay the professionals who actually specialize in this kind of work, but I didn’t want to spend too much.
So I started to look around for different online marketingcompanies and came across one that charged reasonable prices for their service Compads. They have differentonline marketing packages, so I had a choice to choose the one I found that would help me more quickly. What they did for me was create online marketing ads, the ones that thesearch engines like Google will find so when people typed in my line of business in the search engines, my ads will show up, also the ads had links to my website and within the first month, my web traffic to my website increased majorly. Eventually I had enough traffic coming to my site that I didn’t need the ads anymore and my website started to appear on the first pages of Google.
